Cries Of A Woman

Cardboard boxes anchored to the floor
Family and friends now casualities of war
Hope for a new day lays scattered on the ground
Jane lost her baby when the plane went down

All she ever wanted was to save a child
Do what's right
Give one a better life in this life

Empty boxes anchored to the floor
Bound for heaven to the good hands of the lord
Jane is sobbing standing by the door
Thinking about the first child she lost after birth

I can't imagine all the pain she feels inside
I pray for Jane and her will to survive in this life

I hear the cries of a woman
She's drowning in salt water tears
Mumbling words I can barely hear
She said my baby, the plane, why did the plane go down?
Innocent children with their dreams on the ground

Pray for the familes
I'll pray for my friends
Pray for the children, that time won't forget
Hundreds of children wait orphaned and alone
Jane took home a baby of her own

All she ever wanted was to save a child
Someone to hold, somebaody to love in this life

I hear the cries of a woman
She's drowning in salt water tears
Mumbling words I can barely hear
She said my baby, the plane, why did the plane go down?
Innocent children with their dreams on the ground
